Hello, I am a psychological assistant working in southern California. I have a long standing interest in Intersubjectivity, which resonates clearly with my spiritually hopeful agnosticism. Currently I am working with a strongly Kleinian psychologist. Each week in supervision my case work is reviewed from that perspective, and although I am finding the Kleinian interpretations interesting, I am finding the suggestions not always to my nature as a therapist/person. I do find that my clients respond to interpretations based on repeated materials brought up in the transference, however I also find that my intrepetations themselves may be only as important as the intersubjective selfobject need that they serve based on the way I present them from here in my self suit. I am also thinking a lot about how the Kleinian input melds the field itself. These are just a few thoughts as I am seeking some dialogue.
