you make perfect sense. I don't know whether this will help but consider the following: there is no fragmented self in nonpsychotic states. there is only a fragmented cohesive self containing a nuclear self. if you can gain a sense of that nuclearity it will then be your best guide to acceptable and goodbuilding transgression and the other kind.
