In keeping with the continuing development of different perspectives within self psychology, this panel offers an opportunity to see how each of the current models might be used to understand a particular segment of clinical material. In response to the same clinical vignette, each discussant will then demonstrate the use of his clinical perspective....Intersubjectivity, Motivational Systems and Affect Theory, and Self-selfobject Matrix, as a conceptual organizer. There will be time for interaction between the panelists and between panelists and audience.
